The second day of the 30 Years of Democracy celebration is underway, following the commencement on the 3rd of November in the uMgungundlovu District Municipality. Government dignitaries, including Hon. Morolong from the Government Communication and Information Systems, Mayor Cllr Mzi Zuma of uMgungundlovu District Municipality, Deputy Mayor Cllr S. A. Dlamini of uMgungundlovu District Municipality who excellently directed both programmes at the Pietermaritzburg Old Prison and at the Train Station , Mayor Cllr Mzi Thebolla of Msunduzi LM, Deputy Mayor Cllr M. Mkhize of Msunduzi, Speaker Cllr Majola of Msunduzi LM, Mayor Cllr Chris Papas of uMngeni LM, and Speaker Cllr Holems of uMngeni, have collaborated with GCIS, MTN (which will also celebrate its 30th year on November 7, 2024), TheWitness, and USAASA to ensure the success of this significant celebration of 30 years of democracy.
