On Friday the 2nd of August, uMgungundlovu Economic Development Agency (UMEDA), held a meeting with the Consul General of the USA Jasie Ratcliffe. She came on an information sharing mission and to apprise herself about the catalytic projects that have been identified for uMgungundlovu District Municipality.
The Consul General expressed particular interest in further collaboration with UMEDA. going forward. She expressed her appreciation to the District Mayor Cllr Mzi Zuma for the work that is done with regards to HIV/AIDS, and for promoting and supporting Local Economic Development, specifically among the Youth.
